Shane Waters started his first true crime podcast in 2008 as a college freshman studying forensic science - years before Serial put the genre on the map. What began as a side project to share sexual assault crimes happening on campus became a career. Today, he runs the Myths & Malice Podcast Network, producing six shows spanning true crime, forgotten history, and the unexplained. An investigative journalist with nearly two decades of experience, Shane is known for victim-centered storytelling and primary-source research.
